The Start Scratch app has been designed to make learning Scratch even easier. It features step-by-step tutorials, information on all the blocks in Scratch v1.4 and v2.0, and loads of helpful quizzes to help check your understanding. We want to make Start Scratch the perfect app for Scratch beginners and experts alike. That’s why we listen and respond to all feedback, and have worked hard to include all the new features and content suggested. Come to the Start Scratch poster presentation to meet the developer, try the app, and discuss what you would like to see in future versions. Start Scratch is currently available on the Apple App Store, Google Play, the Amazon App Store and the Windows Store. You can find out more about Start Scratch by visiting our website (StartScratch.co.uk), or our page on the ScratchEd website (scratched.media.mit.edu/resources/Start-Scratch-App). You can also like us on Facebook (facebook.com/StartScratchApp) and follow us on Twitter (@StartScratchApp).
The first European conference on Scratch will be held July 25-27 in Barcelona. Educators, researchers, developers and other members of the worldwide Scratch community are gathering to celebrate and share the creative possibilities of Scratch.
